DISCOVER RHODES ISLAND
a surprising blend of ancient and medival
Rhodes island
Rhodes Island is the largest of the Dodecanese Islands, where mild winters and hot summers give it one of the healthiest and most unpolluted climates in the Mediterranean. The Sun god Helios beams on his island 300 days a year. Today, Rhodes island is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.

There is not one place on the island that is not worth visiting, from the archeological sites, to the fabulous beaches, from the valley of butterflies to the honey factory, from fascinating museums and modern art gallery to the Medieval town, from Prasonissi in the south to Rhodes town in the North.
RHODES CITY
Rhodes city with its yacht filled harbor, bustling new town and unique medieval old town is 50km from the hotel and is easily reached by car, public transport or, why not, take a boat from Lindos so you can see all the hidden beaches along the way!

At the same time cosmopolitan and traditional, timeless and modern, simple and spectacular – Rhodes is ideal for beach holidays and so much more.
LOVELY LINDOS
Lindos is an ancient city on the island of Rhodes, about 50 kilometers southeast at the center of the island. It is one of the most picturesque parts of the island, with charming houses and narrow street. The Acropolis of Lindos, with the ancient temple and the byzantine and medieval constructions is a magnificent archaeological site and, for good reason, one of the most visited archaeological sites in Greece.

A horseshoe of whitewashed houses nestles around the hillside, overlooking the crystal clear waters and golden sands of its enclosed blue flag bay. Its beauty has remained unchanged for centuries.
LINDOS VILLAGE
Discover its infinite labyrinth of alleyways, famous Captains houses, numerous Orthodox churches dating back to 12th Century, Crusaders castle wrapped round the ancient Acropolis and the temple of Athena Lindia. Not to mention a plethora of restaurants, great bars, interesting shopping and an array of water sports.

The main attraction of Lindos is the town itself, winding paths between small traditional whitewashed buildings. You will never get bored in Lindos and with something for everyone, it is an unforgettable experience for all who visit.
MEDIEVAL CITY
The old city of Rhodes is the largest medieval city in the whole European continent. It is considered as one of the most important monuments of cultural heritage on an international level and therefore was declared a World Heritage City by UNESCO in 1988. The narrow streets, the classical architecture, the medieval churches and the bridges shape the unique atmosphere of the old city that is reminiscent of a different era that you’ll love at first sight.

In the Old Town every stone tells a story, a history of more than 2,400 years. Ancient statues, marble crests, fountains, the Street of the Knights, the Palace of the Grand Masters, mosques and hammams, the Clock Tower with its breathtaking view of the Aegean, a rich heritage left behind by past civilisations.
STREET OF THE KNIGHTS
The most famous road in the Old Town of Rhodes is the Street of the Knights, restored just as it was in the Middle Ages. Here you’ll find the inns of the ‘tongues’, or national guards, that made up the Order of the Knights. At the highest point in the road is a significant attraction: the grandiose castle, the Palace of the Grand Masters, with its enormous towers, now a wonderful museum.
